The Sunday dinner was not a disappointment lots of veg and meat! We foolishly ordered pudding at the same time as many times been disappointed by portions but these guys don’t want you to go hungry!!
Pub was lovely and clean and must be a popular place with regulars as tables were reserved.
Would visit again if in the area!

I also noted a couple on the table next to us ordered alcoholic drinks and the young waitress told them she wasn't allowed to pour drinks and would have to wait for another member of staff to pour them,the couple were still waiting for their drinks when we left. My relative was embarrassed for recommending the pub,can only assume the place was understaffed!

One of our party is vegetarian, and we were really pleasantly surprised to find a complete vegan menu in addition to the non-vegan one. My daughter was really pleased with the selection of dishes.

The food was excellent. All of us were really surprised at the quality and the value of the meal. The staff were really polite and obliging - I have read some of the recent reviews that suggested otherwise, but that was not our experience. On the contrary, they seemed to make a real effort, in spite of all tables being occupied, and they even made a fuss of the dog. We all decided that this pub deserved a Trip Advisor review as we were really pleased with our visit. Thanks to the staff for a really good afternoon.
